7 Jan 2015 (Wednesday)

Dear children,

I'm glad we finalised our seating arrangement for this term and all of you are comfortable with where you are seated. We also appointed our class leaders by applauding them as they put on their leader tags. Let's support them as they serve and lead the class! :)

Working in your groups, you decided on your group names and contributed rules for the class. Here are the class rules that we came up with together, with every group contributing to the list:

This is the list for class cleanliness duties for Term 1:

I was disappointed during the temperature-taking exercise that a few of you did not bring your thermometers despite my repeated reminders. I think P3/5 TRUTH can be better than this.

You met your Social Studies teacher, Mrs Lisa Lee, and your Mother Tongue teachers for the first time today. I hope you had an enjoyable time of learning with them!

We also started on maths by working on a revision worksheet with some examination questions from last year. Science lesson must have been interesting for you as you tried to guess the secret items in the two bags by asking questions about their characteristics. We will discuss more about classification in our next lesson. :)

These are today's reminders:

1) If you have not submitted the Annex B (Parent Class Representative Reply Slip) and Annex D (Student Medical Record) from Monday's letter, submit them to me tomorrow. I am still waiting for 4 children.

2) If you have not submitted to me the sheet with your personal information, submit it tomorrow. There are 4 children who have yet to do so.

3) If there are books or other items that you have not bought for any subject, please buy them soon. Lessons have begun.

Have an enjoyable evening with your family. See you tomorrow for a fruitful day of learning! :)

  2. Hi Thaneeisha, yes, there is blue on the cover. For a picture of it, search Google with the keywords "Inquiring into our World 3". The first image that appears in your search results is the picture of the cover.

    1. Hi Yu Qi, I think you meant that you bought a thermometer. The thermometer is what you use to take your temperature. :)
