5 Feb 2015 (Thursday)

Dear children,

It was wonderful that we could witness the Junior Councillors Investiture this morning.

I like your enthusiastic cheering and applause for Lai Ye, Avery and Samir as they went on the stage to receive their ties. You showed such great support for them and for the rest of the Junior Councillors!

The three of them were selected to take on the important position and they have willingly taken up their positions to serve. May they continue to grow as servant leaders in their years of serving the school! :)

After the investiture, we spent our only hour together working on more problem sums on comparison models. Some of you found that understanding a question correctly was something challenging for you. We will have more practice on that tomorrow.

These are today's reminders:

1) If you are a Singapore citizen and have not handed up the Edusave form, do so tomorrow.

2) We will be having our next spelling test tomorrow morning. Be prepared. Make sure you have your Spelling Book with you. I hope you will earn ice-cream sticks for your group. Every ice-cream stick counts. Who knows, maybe your group will become the Group of February because of that two extra ice-cream sticks you earn? ;)

Have a pleasant evening with your family. See you tomorrow! :)
