Dear children,
We applauded Enrui and Samir today when they received their prizes during Assembly for their outstanding posters for the Non-Teaching Staff Appreciation Day Poster Design Competition. Sujith's poster won him a consolation prize too. The three of them have surely done our class proud with the effort they put in! :)
With the little time we had together today, we discussed ideas for a composition about Animal Abuse. After we had spent time studying the question properly and brainstorming for some ideas, we looked at a sample story and analysed how the writer described the characters' feelings and actions by "showing and not telling". Then, we also analysed the sample story using our usual Story Mountain Planner to learn how we could plan our own stories with it.
